Kailyn Lowry seems to make a genuine effort to get along with her baby daddies.
But there’s a difference between being friendly and what Javi Marroquin wanted her to do at this year’s Teen Mom 2 reunion taping.
Now, we already knew that Javi cheated on his fiancee, Lauren Comeau.
What we didn’t know until now was that he (allegedly) tried to hook up with Kailyn Lowry behind her back.
We’re guessing Lauren is having second thoughts about giving her man another chance right about now!

Handsy Javi
Kail and Javi have hooked up several times since ending their marriage back in 2016. And clearly, it’s an arrangement he thought would continue …
He Was Wrong
The problem with that, of course, is that Javi is engaged to Lauren Comeau. And as far as we know, the couple is not in an open relationship.
Popping the Question
Of course, Javi and Lauren’s engagement was a new development when Kail filmed her scenes for this week’s Teen Mom 2. And while Comeau seemed to believe Javi had changed his cheating ways … Lowry was less convinced.
Not Exactly Low-Key
But as Javi learned the hard way this week, it’s hard to get away with cheating when a camera crew follows both you and your attempted cheating partner all day.
Revisiting the Past
On a recent Teen Mom 2 “Unseen Moments” special, Lowry revealed that Javi tried to hook up with her at this year’s reunion taping. Last night, she discussed the incident again.
Letting It All Out
“He tried to f–k me,” she claimed. “It just aired and Javi was pissed, but I stand by what I said,”
Awkward!
Apparently, after word got out about the attempted to hook-up, Lauren wanted to get in touch with Kail and tried to talk it out.
Complicated Situation
“There’s a lot of crazy stuff going on. Lauren wanted to call me after that stuff that aired on TV,” Lowry revealed.
Nice Try, Though!
Perhaps not surprisingly, Javi tried to recruit Kail to help him downplay the incident. It didn’t work.
Oh, the Irony
“I think he played it off …. I don’t know, I told him I wouldn’t talk about it. Again,” Kail said AS SHE WAS TALKING ABOUT IT ON CAMERA!
How to Get to the Truth
Obviously, Lauren is the victim in all of this. But as Kail points out she could have easily gotten to the bottom of the situation with a single phone call.
Solid Point
“She was going through Javi to have him get me to be okay with calling her and she wanted him to call me in front of her. I was like she should have just approached me, me and her, because she would have been more likely [to get the answer],” Lowry said.
Word Was Out
At this time, Javi had not yet proposed to Lauren, but as Kail told Vee Torres on last night’s episode, he didn’t exactly keep his plans a secret.
All the Best
“If she trusts him, good for her,” said Lowry. “I don’t wish anything bad on them, I really don’t. I don’t f–k with her but I also don’t wish anything bad on them, at all.”
Good For You …
Eventually, of course, Javi did propose and Lauren accepted. Not surprisingly, Kail’s reaction to the news was less than enthusiastic.
She’s Clearly Thrilled
“I already knew it was happening. I didn’t know he actually did it, but I knew it was going to happen,” Lowry told the producer who informed her.
Ouch
Asked if she planned to congratulate Javi and Lauren, Kail replied, “No. Good luck.”
And There It Is
Right before she drove off, she shouted out the window, “He’s been cheating on you since you were pregnant. Adios!”
A Warning Worth Heeding
Kail’s words proved rather prescient, of course, as Javi was caught cheating on Lauren back in August.
Major Cojones
Not only that, Marroquin was caught in the act while hooking up with his side-piece in a bathroom while he thought Comeau was asleep upstairs.
Good Call By Kail
We imagine it can be quite difficult to take advice from your fiance’s ex-wife, but Lauren really should’ve listened to Kail on this one!
