Kailyn Lowry is pretty clear with regard to her feelings toward the other members of the Teen Mom 2 cast.
For example, we know that Lowry is close friends with Leah Messer, and is decidedly not a fan of Jenelle Evans.
Similarly, Kail keeps her distance from Briana DeJesus, owing largely to the fact that Bri dated Kail’s ex-husband, Javi Marroquin.
But when it comes to Kail and Chelsea Houska, the picture is a little blurrier.
Lowry and Houska used to be close friends, but now they have very little contact with one another.
And fans think that’s no accident.

Kail is one of the hosts of the popular Coffee Convos podcast, and her recent interview with longtime friend Becky Hayter raised some eyebrows.

Apparently, the way that Kail and Becky discussed Chelsea in the past tense led many to the conclusion that Lowry and Houska had cut ties.
Demanding Answers
“So I just need to know if [Kailyn Lowry] is still close with [Chelsea Houska],” one fan tweeted.
Sad Stuff
“Because the podcast with [Becky Hayter] so made it sound like they aren’t and I don’t know why but that makes me so sad if it’s true #teenmom2,” she continued.
Clearing the Air
Fortunately, that fan didn’t have to search for answers for very long, as Kail was quick to respond to her query.

“We are still friends!!” Lowry replied to the concerned follower.
Chelsea Chimes In
Chelsea echoed Kail’s sentiment, tweeting that she’s as close to her TM2 family as ever — she’s just more of a homebody these days.
Keeping a Lower Profile
“I think people look wayyy too much into it! I used to go out and be social during reunions and now I tend to stay in and keep to myself!” Chelsea said, clarifying why she doesn’t party with the rest of the cast after reunion tapings.
Houska the Hermit
“I still love these ladies … I’ve just become a hermit,” Houska joked.
Busy Moms
Kail revealed that she’s essentially in the same boat, tweeting, “Same, I think we are all so drained and I personally don’t like going to bars or anything. But we all still love each other!”

“Plus Kail and Leah are 2 single ladies and living their best life!” Houska added. “I love watching their adventures and maybe if I get some balls I will join them sometime (but I’m NOT skydiving or any other crazy s–t you guys do)”

Unique Circumstances
Teen Mom 2 and its predecessor are different from other reality shows in that the cast members all live in different parts of the country.

But despite the fact that Kail is in Delaware and Chelsea in South Dakota, it sounds as though these two are as close as ever.
