When you really think about it, it's impressive:
Just when we thought Jenelle Evans had humiliated herself in every possible way, she discovers a new and bizarre method for making herself look like a damn fool.
As you probably already know, Jenelle has been feuding with Kailyn Lowry for years.
And you're probably also aware that her animosity toward Kail has caused Jenelle to engage in some behavior that's truly bonkers -- even by Jenelle Evans standards.
But Jenelle's latest attempt at revenge might be her most bizarre and hilariously misguided to date.
The whole thing is classic Jenelle - pointlessly mean-spirited, potentially dangerous, embarrassingly try-hard, and above all, very, very dumb.
And, stop us if you've heard this one, it may even get her in trouble with the law.
Take a look:
It wasn't all that long ago that Kail and Jenelle were close friends. These days, however, the Teen Mom 2 co-stars are bitter rivals.
Trying Her Best
Kail is still no fan of Jenelle's, but she seems to have arrived at the conclusion that there's no need for two grown colleagues to engage in non-stop petty squabbles on social media.
And so, when David Eason was flashing his guns and threatening elected officials on Instagram last week, Kail reached out to Jenelle in order to ensure she was safe.
Lowry wasn't able to get in touch with Evans, but she still tried to mend fences with her co-star and former friend.
The Gift That Keeps on Giving
And so, Kail sent Jenelle the only gift that could warm the Carolina Hurricane's cold, cold heart. We're talking, of course, about weed.
But Seriously ...
Okay, Kail didn't actually give Jenelle the gift of cannabis. Instead, she sent samples from her Pothead haircare line, which features products made from hemp-derived CBD oil.
“I sent everyone in the cast a PR box, including Jenelle,” Kail told The Ashley’s Reality Roundup earlier this month.
Worth a Shot
“I figured maybe this will be the thing that breaks the ice and we’ll be cool again," Lowry continued.
It seems that Jenelle received the products this week. And she responded to the peace offering as only Jenelle Evans could.
Jenelle posted that embarrassing clip on Instagram today. As some ear-bleedingly bad, Limp Bizkit-y rap-rock plays in the background, Evans addresses the camera like she's introducing an ISIS beheading video.
"Hey, Kail," Jenelle says. "This is to your peace offering." She then lights the products on fire and flees for her life.
Jenelle Goes Off
Naturally, Jenelle had to post a lengthy, rambling rant as a caption for the clip.
"Been debating whether to upload this, but I feel like the time is appropriate," Evans began. "Kail Lowry, for years you’ve been super jealous and envious of all us girls on the show."
Jenelle Is Calling Someone Else Mean
"You try to make your way into the group, then turn into a mean ass person when it came down to me," she continued.
SOMEONE Is Certainly "Talking Sh-t"
"You apologize on/off, claim I need to be apologizing sometimes, then talk shit constantly about me and my husband to the tabloids?!" Jenelle added.
What's a Peace Gathering?
"THEN you had the balls to send me a PEACE GATHERING GIFT?!" Evans rambled on.
We Guess It Makes Sense Her Mind
"Don’t send me gifts and then go talk shit AGAIN!!!" Jenelle (finally) concluded. "Wow, you’re an idiot cuz this is what I do for gifts sent from fake ass bitches like you."
A Brutal Self-Own
We're not sure why Jenelle thought burning a free gift would qualify as an act of revenge, but the whole thing backfired in brutal fashion.
Making It Count
As the most business-savvy of all the Teen Moms, Kail knows an opportunity when she sees one.
She took advantage of the free advertising offered by Jenelle's stunt and offered customers a discount with the promo code "LIT."
Obviously, the promotion was a successful one.
We Don't Think She Needs It
Kail has a flair for self-promotion. It's the kind of thing that can't be taught.
As For Jenelle's Business Ventures ...
It looks like another year has come and gone without the long-delayed Jenelle Evans cosmetics line. Perhaps she needs to spend less time setting fire to other people's products and more time developing her own ...
Better Lawyer Up
She may not have heard the end of this one. Columbus County police say that Evans broke the law when she set Lowry’s hair products, as according to North Carolina state law, it “is always illegal to burn trash and other non-vegetative materials. Leaves, branches and other plant growth can be burned under certain conditions.” Evans, 27, could be facing up to $25,000 in fines. Stay tuned.
