You may not believe this, but Jenelle Evans has a few thoughts about Amber Portwood.
The former Teen Mom star has jumped on Twitter to pass judgment on the
current Teen Mom OG star, whose status as an MTV employee is now very tenuous… considering she was arrested on July 5 for domestic assault.
Evans, of course, knows a thing or two dozen about domestic assault cases.
She also knows something about losing custody of one’s kids, a fate that befell Jenelle for about a month after her husband shot his family’s dog — and which has now befallen Amber as a result of her arrest.
Does Jenelle has sympathy for her long-time rival? Not exactly.
Okay: Not at all.
Scroll down to see what Jenelle now has to say about everything…
Let’s Start with the Obvious:
Amber and Jenelle do not get along, not in any way, shape or form.
The Same Can Be Said About Amber and David Eason
Remember how Portwood went off on Eason several months ago, labeling him a “disgusting clown?”
In Case You Forgot About It…
… here is the Tweet Amber sent in January 2019.
Amber wanted to make it clear here that she was talking about Eason, admitting in the process that she was once an “abuser,” but also sticking her foot in her mouth — in hindsight — because she is now once again an alleged abuser.
Yes, you must have read some stories about this by now, right? Amber was arrested in early July and charged with THREE felonies because she supposed threw a shoe at boyfriend Andrew Glennon … while he was holding the couple’s 14-month old son.
That Isn’t All, Though
Amber also reportedly said she wanted to die and tossed back a number of Klonopin pills. She then threw them up and this is when Glennon texted 911 for help.
He Then Ran and Hid in the Bathroom with James
And this is when he claims Amber grabbed a machete and used it to try and break down the door.
What Has Been the Fallout?
Glennon has filed for full custody of James and Amber is only permitted to see her son under professional supervision.
So… Jenelle Can Relate, Right?
Sadly, yes. After Eason SHOT AND KILLED HIS FAMILY DOG, Child Protective Services deemed his house an unsafe environment in which to raise children.
Many Custody Hearings Followed
Finally, on July 3, Evans was awarded custody of her young kids, Kaiser and Ensley, once again.
Just Two Days Later?
Portwood was arrested.
It’s Almost as If These Women are Unstable and Should Perhaps NOT Be Given the Platforms of Prominent Reality Shows
We agree. But that’s a discussion for another time.
How Did Jenelle React to Portwood’s Arrest?
With shade, of course.
Did You, Though?
Jenelle taunted her rival by claiming that “at least” she learned from her mistakes, which is hilarious and sad… considering Jenelle has very likely been beaten often by Eason and continued to stay with him.
And Now Jenelle is at It Again
In light of Amber having attended a courtroom hearing on July 25, Evans has fired off a couple negative Tweets.
Evans took issue with how Teen Mom cameras were actually on the courthouse scene to film Amber’s day in court, asking why they chose to shine light on this domestic abuse case and not her own custody hearing.
HA! You Guys Think David is Dangerous?!?
Amber is accused of wielding a sword, Jenelle is arguing here… while Eason, she would argue, merely shot a dog to protect his daughter.
Does Jenelle Have a Point?
Kind of? Sort of? We mean, she is remaining with an abusive, violent, racist and sexist husband, placing her kids in danger every single day. So she is very clearly wrong on a constant basis. HOWEVER…
MTV Probably Shouldn’t Have Filmed Amber’s Hearing
It’s the off-season even. The show is not actually shooting right now, and yet cameramen and Amber’s co-stars were still called in to Indiana in order to film footage that will clearly be used in some way next season.
And MTV Should Probably Fire Portwood Now
The same way the network fired Jenelle.
Because it doesn’t matter whether or not the arrest was valid; that is, whether or not she really broke the law. What matters is that receiving a big salary for being on a major reality show is a privilege… and Portwood clearly should not be afforded it any longer.
