You soon will be, according to ABC, which has dubbed Season 15 as the season of “feels” in the first official poster for new episodes, which will kick off on Thursday, September 27…
… with a TWO-HOUR premiere.
We can’t wait.
But we’ll need to, for a few more days.
Thankfully, enough has leaked about the first couple episodes, along with various upcoming storylines, that we’ve been able to put together this Season 15 guide for those who don’t mind being mildly spoiled.

15 Seasons of Feels
The Grey’s Anatomy Season 15 poster promises that viewers will experience ALL the feels in 2018-2019.
Will Meredith Find Love Again?
YES! “The question this season, is not ‘Will Meredith Grey find love again,’ but ‘With whom will she find love?'” show runner Krista Vernoff has teased.
With Whom?!?
DeLuca? Chris Carmack’s new surgeon? Greg Germann’s Dr. Thomas Koracick? There are plenty of attractive options.
The Mystery Deepens
“I can’t tease who she will end up with,” Vernoff told TVLine. “But I can say that it is going to be a joyful, funny, complicated journey to get there.”
Wait, Doesn’t She Hook Up with DeLuca?
This scene from the Season 15 trailer certainly makes it appear that way, but perhaps it was a one-night stand or even just a fantasy.
What About the Love Triangle to End All Triangles?
There are many relationships, marriages and babies involved between Amelia, Owen and Teddy. “It’s not going to be the typical love triangle,” and that “it gets complicated, but in a very multi-layered way,” says Kim Raver.
Wait, Teddy is Back?!?
Viewers know this, of course. But how will the other doctors respond to this stunning return? (By the looks of this season premiere photo? Not well.)
What About Richard?
James Pickens Jr. has told E! News that Richard will have an “interesting journey” on Season 15 after the death of his sponsor last season; “It puts him in a precarious position now where he’s kind of grasping at some kind of contact or some support, so it’s gonna be interesting watching him battle through this.”
They’re Newly Married!
How long will the honeymoon period last for Jo and Alex? The latter “becomes inspired, and she feels like she maybe has a new medical innovation, and she wants to pursue it with Meredith in Seattle,” Camilla Luddington previews. “But it’s Grey’s Anatomy. Does it all go to plan? I don’t know.”
The Season Premiere Synopsis
The first half of the two-hour premiere will be titled “With a Wonder and a Wild Desire” and this is the official description: “The doctors at Grey Sloan Memorial vie for a new position. Meredith is seemingly distracted and struggles to stay focused, and Maggie finds herself the keeper of a big secret while Amelia and Owen try to figure out their relationship. Meanwhile, Jo and Alex’s honeymoon doesn’t go exactly as planned.”
And Episode 2?
It will be titled “Broken Together” and here is the synopsis: “The new doctors continue to shake up the hospital in typical Grey Sloan manner. Meredith bonds with a patient while Jackson struggles with the meaning behind recent experiences; and after making a life-changing decision, Jo forms an unexpected alliance.”
Who Will NOT Be Around?
Sarah Drew. As we’re sure you know by now, the actress will not return
And Neither Will Jessica Capshaw
This beloved actress, and her character of Arizona Robbins, will not be a part of Season 15, either.
