On The Real Housewives of Orange County, Shannon Beador going full momager on poor Adeline was just a drop in the bucket of drama.
Emily and Braunwyn bonded over daddy issues.
Tamra tried to help her deeply troubled son work through his emotional and mental health struggles.
Both of them very clearly blame her for most of it.
But even scarier than Ryan's outfit (which you'll see below) is Gina Kirschenheiter's story.
Her ex, Matt, invaded her home and snuck into her bedroom. That's scary.
In light of his arrest in June, some time after this was filmed, it's downright terrifying.
Gina Kirschenheiter, Husband
As Gina prepared to meet Matt for therapy (for co-parenting, not to repair their romance), she shared an alarming story with Tamra and Emily. "Last night, he texted me. He was in Coto," Gina began. "And then of course I just like get snarky and blocked his phone."
Then it got worse
"And then he called me 12,000 times from another number, a blocked number or whatever. I just ignored it," Gina shared. "And then he came to my house at 1 in the morning."
This is so creepy
"Well, I apparently didn't lock the door, which is bad. I know. And I usually lock up!" Gina told a bewildered Tamra, who had assumed that he'd just shown up at her door. "You know why I was distracted? Because I was on the phone with Dr. Hottie!"
She knows that it was "scary"
"Matt just came...he was upstairs in my bedroom," she shared. This sounds like a Scream movie. "I didn't even know he was in the house, which is really scary."
It was jarring and (hopefully) unusual
"This is something that's beyond comprehendable," Gina admitted. "Like, I can't even...I've never been in a situation like that, and I don't think that too many people have."
What did he say?
"He's looking for jobs in Orange County," Gina revealed. It sounds like she was able to get that much from what he told her. "He's, like, serious." Notably, Matt worked in LA.
She's not getting back with him
Faced with the question of whether she would take him back, Gina says that she is not at that place where she'd be willing to, even if he got his nonsense together. After all, Matt cheated on her, and there are clearly other issues.
But Gina confessed to some mixed feelings
"It's alarming that Matt walked into my home in the middle of the night, but to be honest, also, it feels good that Matt cares about me," Gina alarmingly expressed to the confessional camera.
Gina tried to explain: "Your heart is like, 'Oh my God, I want this for you, I want this for me, I want this for us, I want this for my children,' but then your brain is like, 'Don't just fall for this romance novel situation.' Ultimately, I think I will regret it if I don't follow my heart, even if it is not the smartest decision."
Obviously, she didn't know then what we know now
Right at the beginning of summer, Matt was arrested after showing up unannounced yet again at Gina's home. He allegedly allegedly choked her, hit her, dragged her, threw her, and threatened her life while their children slept in the house. We are so sorry that this happened to Gina and want to emphasize that she did not "invite" this with her conflicted response to Matt's previous home invasions.
Tamra Judge has been dealing with her, well, deeply troubled son. Ryan Vieth has reached a very low point in his life.
He's obsessed ... with Donald Trump
At first he wasn't especially vocal about his support of Trump because he knew that he would receive well-deserved backlash from Housewives fans. But now it seems that he no longer gives a flip.
He's even trolling fans and his mom over it
He revealed this American Flag Cosplay, seemingly disguising what Tamra calls his "Trump cult" mentality as patriotism -- though the two could not be more different.
Tamra blames herself
She had him at 18 and he spent the first dozen years of his life with very little structure because Tamra was working her butt off and he was spending time with his grandmother.
It's an uncomfortable situation
Ryan feels that he was the test child, and that he wasn't really given a good start at life unlike his half-siblings whom Tamra had with Simon Barney. He's right. But ...
What he just described is true for millions of people who grew up poor and also for millions of eldest siblings, who almost always get the worst in terms of both parenting and economic situation, and are often treated as tertiary (and involuntary) parents. Ryan clearly envies his younger siblings but, dude, your situation is not unique.
IS it Tamra's fault?
We're not saying that Tamra was mom of the year to Ryan -- or to Sidney, for that matter. But Ryan is an adult. If your mental health suffers as an adult, that can absolutely be a consequence of your childhood. But if you are actively choosing to be a bad person (he has been arrested for domestic violence) and to support a bad person, and doing so as an adult in his 30s, that's all on you.
Tamra is trying to do what she can now by putting him in touch with a "life coach" who is actually a legit therapist because she wants her son to get his house in order, starting with his mental health.
Then of course was the fashion show
Shannon now admits that she did not necessarily do a great job of "coaching" Adeline. And Braunwyn's mom had a needlessly messy confrontation with a security guard, which is a hell of a thing.
And Emily talked about daddy issues
She and Brauwnyn sort of bonded over absent father figures in their lives. Emily says that she has anger over that and feels that it drove her to succeed. While those who had very present but terrible fathers might envy her, one can surely understand how she feels that she missed out.
She also addressed her husband
Emily said that Shane is a good husband "sometimes," which is a hell of an admission. She also affirmed that her #1 priority is her children, which is absolutely correct for any parent.
