Farrah Abraham has never been a mother of the year candidate.
But despite all of her shoddy parenting, the former Teen Mom 2 star at least brings her 10-year-old daughter with her when she travels the world in search of a way to pay her bills without getting a real job — right?
Well, maybe not.
Over the weekend, there were concerns that Farrah had left Sophia alone in Los Angeles while she jetted off to party in Mexico.
Farrah has remained mum on the issue, but it seems her parents reached out to The Ashley’s Reality Roundup in an effort to clear their daughter’s name,

Farrah Abraham may not be the greatest mom, but to her credit, she and her daughter Sophia are inseparable. Which is why fans were so surprised by the rumor that Farrah had taken off for Mexico and left Sophia alone in LA.

Farrah and Sophia have been involved in their share of controversies together, many of them related to the 10-year-old’s use of social media.
Who Would’ve Thought?
The trouble started back in 2017, when Farrah signed Sophia up for Snapchat, and she wound up interacting with strangers late at night.
More Trouble
Sophia’s behavior raised concerns again last month, when fans claimed that Farrah was allowing her daughter to post age-inappropriate dance routines on Tik Tok.
Home Alone?
Now, the mother-daughter duo are making tabloid headlines again, thanks to claims that Farrah left Sophia alone in an apartment in LA while she, Farrah, jetted off to Mexico for Super Bowl weekend.
Cause For Concern
Tik Tok users claim that Sophia posted now-deleted videos that showed her home, and according to Champion Daily, several Teen Mom-focused Instagram accounts repeated the claim that Sophia had been left alone.
Voicing Their Fears
One site even posted an exchange between a concerned fan and Farrah’s mother, Debra Danielsen.
Dismissed By Deb
“Thanks. I appreciate you connecting and caring. Blessings,” Debra allegedly replied.
Not Holding Back
“You always reply the same way and don’t even care about that little girl,” the fan continued. “Shame on you for not taking action. That kid deserves so much more than Farrah is giving her. So terribly sad to see.â€Â
Angry Debz
“Don’t speak of things you are not part of. Insulting people is not going well for you,” Debra shot back.
Michael Steps In
At that point, Farrah’s father, Michael Abraham, got involved and threatened legal action against anyone who repeated the claim that Sophia had been left alone.
Photographic Evidence?
He also posted what he claims is proof that HE was in Los Angeles supervising Sophia on the weekend of the big game.
Clearing the Air
The Ashley’s Reality Roundup reached out to Debra in response to the claim that Sophia’s Tik Tok page showed her home alone on Friday.
Deb Speaks Out
“It isn’t true… Sophia is with family and never posted anything,†Debra said. “It was a hacker who is obsessed with Farrah. We turned it over to [Instagram] and Twitter and the police.
Defending Her Daughter
Asked to explicitly confirm that Farrah did not leave Sophia alone while she partied in Mexico, Deb replied, “That is correct. Farrah has not done anything wrong here.â€Â
Doubling Down
Michael Abraham also spoke with The Ashley and confirmed that Sophia was not alone on Friday or Saturday,
Round the Clock Care
“Sophia always has a guardian and is always taken care of,†Michael said. “I am personally working with my attorneys right now, we know who these people are [who started this rumor].”
Getting Litigious
“We’ve already filed police reports. I am really considering a lawsuit against them for public defamation, lies and harassment of our family. By doing this, they’re actually endangering Sophia themselves,” he added.
No Investigation
“Also Farrah is not and never has been ‘in trouble’ with any CPS (child protection services) organization,†Michael added in response to the rumors of a CPS investigation. “Any CPS rumors are just lies from people harassing my family. This can be verified by public record.â€Â
In the Clear?
So there you have it. We guess Farrah did nothing wrong this time. Fortunately, she has parents willing to swoop in and babysit when it’s time to do her jet-setting thing!
UPDATE: Farrah Speaks!
She wasn’t exactly quick to respond, but on Monday, Farrah finally responded to the allegations against her.
The Great Life
“We live a great life and are not affected by harassment of any sort and I will not tolerate unsafe illegal actions by others lying, stalking, or harassing my family,” Farrah said.
The Blame Game
“I see I need to post less on social media since cyber bullying and hate still has not been filtered out on social media,” she continued.
It’s Always the Haters
“Since I have had continued harassment, stalkers, and haters from the Teen Mom show continue to call Police on me after being hated on the show, I have taken extensive precautions against those who sell stories, lies, and harass my family,” Abraham added.
Sad!
“Sophia is protected from the evil people and it’s sad people are jealous of my dating life, and try to affect my family in a negative way,” Farrah concluded.
An Improvement!
It doesn’t offer much in the way of information, but believe it or not, it’s more coherent than Farrah’s usual public statement.
