We spent much of the past year thinking there’s nothing that Jenelle Evans and David Eason could do that would shock us.
And they spent that same stretch of time repeatedly proving us wrong.
Assault accusations? Dozens of CPS investigations? A visit from the Secret Service?
You name it, it went down on The Land in 2018.
Foolishly, we thought there was no way the Easons could top the insanity in 2019.
But David has proven us wrong right out of the gate.

David on the Land
David has been in a downward spiral ever since he closed out 2018 with a bizarre incident in which he seemed to threaten physical violence against several high-profile elected officials.
Biting the Hand That Feeds Him
For reasons that remain unclear, David seems to be hellbent on getting Jenelle fired from her cushy, six-figure job.
Menacing Dave
There have been reports of David stalking and harassing crew members as they attempt to film Jenelle’s segments for the show. (David was fired last from Teen Mom 2 last year.)
Unhinged
According to a report from The Ashley’s Reality Roundup, several crew members have threatened to quit the show over concerns about David’s violent tendencies.
Playing It Safe
“After the first video [of David threatening to shoot trespassers who came on The Land] incident, several of them said they will no longer accept shoots with Jenelle, because they are downright scared to go anywhere near her, out of fear of what David may do,” a source told The Ashley.
Scary Situation
“There are some people who no longer feel safe going down there anymore because David has made it clear that he does not like the people from MTV, and that he has a ton of weapons,” the insider continued.
The Smart Thing to Do
You might think that in response to these concerns, David would agree to back off, so as to not get his wife fired and cost his household its sole source of income.
The David Thing to Do
Instead, David has decided to double down and is now calling for a boycott of Teen Mom 2 and MTV.
What’s Going On Here?
David is unemployed; Jenelle pulls in more than $300,000 a year for her “work” on TM2; and the couple has five kids to support.
WTF Is He Thinking?
In other words, David would have to be insane to ruin his wife’s relationship with MTV. Unless, of course, he’s suddenly very eager to get out of the spotlight.
Blind Item
Fans believe a new blind item rumor published by the website Crazy Days and Nights offers a disturbing glimpse into David and Jenelle’s sex life.
Yikes
We have no way of knowing if David is the subject of this story, but fans on Twitter seem to believe that’s the case.
The Gun Guy
David has never been shy about his love of firearms, but the revelation that he’s incorporating guns into his sex life might finally prompt MTV to decide that the Easons aren’t the best family to represent their network.
Not the First Time
And this isn’t the first time that a gun- and Teen Mom-related blind item has led fans to think of David.
Nauseating
A previous report indicated that a former MTV star known for his massive arsenal and his controversial views on race has a fondness for shooting at targets painted to look like black men.
Speaking Out
Adding to the uncertainty over David’s future employment is the fact that mutliple Teen Mom 2 stars have spoken out against David. The latest is Javi Marroquin.
The Truth
Javi recently confirmed that it’s unsafe for MTV camera crews to film on and around Jenelle and David’s land.
Words of Wisdom
“I wouldn’t go anywhere around there,” Javi said of the crew’s concerns. “If Jenelle is around [David] knows where he is and he knows where to find her.”
Putting It Mildly
“That dude’s got issues,” Javi told Radar Online. “I stay out of it so he doesn’t come after me.”
Bad News
Unfortunately for Javi, David is likely to catch wind of his comments.
