Catelynn and Tyler Baltierra continue to tell us that their marriage is fine.
Yes, they are living apart on occasion, but they have no plans to divorce and every plan to continually co-parent.
The latest case in point to back up this claim?
A couple recent photos on Instagram in which Catelynn and Tyler are happily spending time as a family with daughter Novalee.
Why? Because she just turned four years old!
Check out the birthday photos and message below...
Catelynn and Tyler have had their marital issues. But look at them here, coming together for their daughter's birthday.
Wrote Tyler as a Caption to This Image:
"Can’t believe our little baby is going to be 4 tomorrow!!! As I look back on this past year, I’m reminded how blessed I am regardless of all the hard times we have experienced."
And He Concluded:
"I love my family more than words could express & I’m so happy where we are in life & proud of all the work we have done & I just love the love we all share in this little family tribe we created & I can’t wait to meet the newest little member! #HappyNewYear #HappyBirthdayNovalee."
Catelynn can't believe her little one is growing up so fast.
We love the look on Nova's face here as she unwraps a gift.
And Then We Love the Look Even More After the Gift is Open
Tyler and Catelynn Baltierra
Tyler and Catelynn Baltierra (nee Lowell) on Teen Mom OG. They've been through so much together through the years.
"My heart," wrote Catelynn along with this photo. Simple, yet to the point and so very true.
This Couple Has Come So Far
Several days prior, Catelynn shared a rare shot with her arms wrapped around her husband, writing: “I love you so much @tylerbaltierramtv thanks for blessing me with three beautiful girls and choosing me as your wife. I’m truly blessed by you! I love you!”
But Are They Still Separated?
We're not certain. Toward the end of this past Teen Mom OG season, Tyler had said he needed a break from his marriage, referring to it as "self-reflection," not as a separation.
This is The Latest We Heard About It:
During part one of the Teen Mom OG reunion episode, which aired on Christmas Eve, the couple opened up about their situation.
Said Catelynn to Dr. Drew:
“I understand where he’s coming from and the things that he had to do when I was away. "So I’m really supporting him in this because I feel like as a wife I should support him.” Catelynn is referring to when she checked into rehab for suicidal thoughts early in 2018 and Tyler was left at home with Nova.
Tyler Knows How His Request Sounds
He said on the reunion stage that he understands those who think he's "insensitive" for wanting a break, but: "All these resentments is why I said, ‘Listen, we need to do this. I’m not going to sit here and pretend like I don’t have this bitterness with me, so I’m going to go handle this in therapy.’ I think the goal is just to figure out who we are as individuals. I think me and Cate just got together super young."
Did you know they were middle school sweethearts? They've been together for a looooong time.
Okay. But, Again, Are They Living Apart?
Yes, they have been. Still, Tyler has tried to explain that he's so very close to his wife and daughter. "The 30 days wasn’t even a total isolated 'separation,'" he wrote on Twitter. "I was 8 min down the road & we had dinner dates, family movie nights, went on a mini vacation & it was EXACTLY what we needed for US! People can hate on me all day but my self assurance is not reliant on society’s acceptance."
Tyler is Trying to Be There for His Girls... and Himself
He added on Twitter, in regard to living separately from his loved ones: "I only spent the first week of the 'separation' in the new house on an air mattress in the middle of construction to get it completely ready for Cate & Nova. Then I went to the old house for the rest of the time. I wasn’t going to let my girls live in chaos!"
Can We Keep Our Eyes on the Big Picture Here?
"The main goal is to stay with my wife and live this life. We love each other," Tyler recently told Us Weekly.
And Catelynn Echoes This Sentiment
"YES we are having a 30 day reflection time," Catelynn wrote in a lengthy Instagram post last month. "NO we are not getting a divorce!"
Don't Judge Us!
This is just what the stars need to make their marriage work -- and it DOES work, Catelynn insists, telling followers: ""He was AMAZING and supported me the whole time! I also knew I had to go so I wouldn't commit SUICIDE. I am supporting what he wants now! WE love each other and ALWAYS WILL."
