‘NYT’ Delayed Trend: Bloggers make a difference

» More Media

We grow just as bored as you reading new media reports about the effects of blogs – especially when we already hold scientific evidence proving our existence means little more than Ayad Allawi’s. But because fewer of our readers actually open The New York Times Magazine than, say, T: The Style Magazine (also found in the four-pound heffer also known as the Sunday edition), we wanted to draw your attention to Ms. Wonkette and Mr. Talking Points Memo’s presence on the cover of yesterday’s Magazine. The 7,500-plus-word article about the influence of bloggers in politics managed to include the words “gay,” “naked,” “nudity” and “bloggers” in the first sentence, which just about sums up their actual relevance.
