Not long after introducing the world to its legendary 1,100 calorie salad, Hardee’s has unveiled its latest addition to the ever-expanding cardiologist wishlist: the Country Breakfast Burrito. Said breakfast wrap consists of “two egg omelets filled with bacon, sausage, diced ham, cheddar cheese, hash browns and sausage gravy, all wrapped inside a flour tortilla.” Not to mention 920 calories and 60 grams of fat.
Brad Haley, marketing chief for the St. Louis-based fast-food chain, said the burrito offers the sort of big breakfast item normally found in sit-down restaurants with an added advantage.
“It makes this big country breakfast portable,” he said.
Unfortunately, the same can’t be said about those who consume it on any semi-regular basis.

Hardee’s (AKA Hardlee’s or Retardee’s) was THE place to go in college after a night of heavy drinking. A Country Breakfast Burrito would have made that experience even better.
