Rapper Tone Loc has been released from the hospital following his collapse during an outdoor concert in Pensacola Beach, Florida.
Tone Loc, born Anthony Terrell Smith, was performing at the Capt’n Fun Beach Club when he collapsed early Friday morning and had a seizure. He was taken by ambulance to Gulf Breeze Hospital where he was treated and released.
According to the rapper’s manager Bobby Bessone, flight delays and heat contributed to the collapse.
Tone Loc is best known ofr his 1980s hits “Funky Cold Medina” and “Wild Thing.”
