Sarah Jessica Parker and Matthew Broderick have become parents to twin girls.

The couple’s surrogate mother gave birth to the twins Tuesday morning.

The girls were born at East Ohio Regional Hospital in Martin’s Ferry, where the Hollywood couple was present to welcome the newborns to the world.

Parker and Broderick turned to the unidentified surrogate after failing to naturally conceive a sibling for their six-year-old son James Wilkie.

The happy news comes just two weeks after the stars found themselves embroiled in a scam to dig up dirt on the woman carrying their babies.

Martin’s Ferry Police Chief Barry Carpenter is currently under investigation after he was accused of agreeing to snoop on the pregnant woman for a tabloid reporter.

No charges have been filed to date.

Parker, 44, praised the surrogate as a strong woman who made “an incredibly generous and gracious choice.”

According to Broderick, 47, big brother James Wilkie, is “pretty excited.” “We have to get a lot of princess toys,” the 6-year-old said.
