‘Bridget Jones’ celebrity Renee Zellweger has changed up her look to the point where she is almost unrecognizable.

The 44-year-old Katy, Texas native all but disappeared from the film industry following ‘My Own Love Song’ in 2010 but that will soon change.

‘Bridget Jones’s Baby’ is in development with Colin Firth and Hugh Grant reprising their roles. Working Title Films co-chair Tim Bevan recently confirmed, “Reports that Hugh Grant has exited the upcoming project are untrue. We are still working on a script hence the delay to the start of production, but the film is going ahead as planned.”

He admits, “Bridget Jone’s Baby’ is like herding cats but they’re beginning to fall into line.”

Firth, who won an Oscar for ‘The King’s Speech, could be the spoiler. He acknowledged in April, “It might be a bit of a long wait. I wouldn’t say that it’s completely dead in the water, but the way it’s going you might be seeing Bridget Jones’ granddaughter’s story being told by the time we get there.”

Zellweger does have a new project in the works. In February 2014 she’ll take on the role of director as well as actress in ‘4 1/2 Minutes’ co-starring Johnny Knoxville.

On the romance front she famously married country singer Kenny Chesney in 2005 and shortly afterward got an annulment citing “fraud.” In 2010 she hooked up with actor Bradley Cooper but ended the relationship six months later.

Her latest boyfriend and fellow Texan is Doyle Bramhall II, a guitarist and producer who split with singer Sheryl Crow in 2011. Check out a recent photo of the couple holding hands below:
