We are sadden to report that boxing champ Mike Tyson‘s 4 year old daughter Exodus Tyson has died. Tyson’s daughter was playing on a treadmill at her mother’s home in Phoenix yesterday when her neck became tangled in a dangling cord. The youngster was found hanging from the machine by her 7 year old brother.
The mother, whose name has not been released, was cleaning in another part of the house when the tragedy occurred. The girl’s brother found his sister and alerted his mother, who called 911 and then administered CPR until paramedics arrived.
The 4 year old was transported to St. Joseph Hospital and Medical Center, where she was placed on life support. She was pronounced dead today at 11:45 a.m., surrounded by family members.
Tyson, who was in Las Vegas at the time of the tragic accident, arrived at the Arizona hospital this morning. The family issued a statement thanking everyone for their love and support and asking for privacy while they grieve.
