Recent claims made by Britain newspaper The Sun indicate that the “King of Pop” Michael Jackson is secretly battling skin cancer. The musician’s doctor has shot down that as a rumor and states that Jackson is in perfect health.
The publication said, “Michael’s test showed spots of skin cancer on his body, and cells which could turn to skin cancer on his face. He was at first very concerned, but says he has been assured by the doctors that they can treat this and he will recover.”
Jackson spokesperson Dr. Tohme has dismissed the tabloid report as totally fabricated and offered assurances that Michael Jackson does not have cancer.
The singer will fulfill his UK concert schedule starting in July as planned.
The only skin issue for Michael is the dermatologic disorder Vitiligo that he was diagnosed with 20 years ago. The disease affects the skin pigmentation and has caused the singer’s skin to lose color and take on a pale look. He has used specially formulated makeup for years to even out the blotchy skin tones.
