Former “American Idol” contestant Jason Castro married his girlfriend Mandy Mayhall in his hometown of Rockwall, Texas on Saturday. The 22-year-old was AI‘s fourth place finisher on Season 7.
Castro, whose bachelor party included bowling, poker and pool, will launch an EP single “The Love Uncompromised” on January 12th with Atlantic Records and his self titled album “Jason Castro” on March 31, 2010.
He and Mandy got engaged while wearing Halloween costumes at the end of October 2009. They were dressed as characters from Disney’s “Beauty and the Beast” – see photo below.
The new groom ‘tweeted‘ on Sunday, “Yesterday I married the girl of my dreams. It couldn’t have been more perfect! Now, honeymoooon!!!”
