Facebook has once again been the catalyst for romance. When a 20-year-old Florida woman searched the social website to see if there were other Kelly Hildebrandt‘s on the network, she discovered a Lubbock, Texas guy who turned out to be way more than a casual cyber search.

The Facebook photo of Kelly boy showed a shirtless blonde who peaked her curiosity. She sent him a shout-out – “I just told him I saw we had the same name and thought that was kind of cool, and that I just wanted to say hi. It was like a sentence, the whole thing.”

Kelly boy thought she was pretty cute so he initiated an ongoing cyber chat for the next three weeks and then he decided to meet Kelly girl in person. He describes himself as an action-type person, so his family wasn’t too surprised by his rather impulsive act.

The face to face went well, so much so that he decided to relocate to Coral Gables and immediately put in a transfer request with his employer. They admit that they did check their respective family tree’s to make sure they weren’t shirt-tail relatives before getting too caught in a romance.

Kelly girl and Kelly boy are now engaged and plan to get married in October, a whirlwind courtship of eight months from first cyber greeting to their wedding day.

They expect to have problems with their phone calls and mail and have already had to straighten out a messed up cruise booking because a travel agent thought that there was a duplication of one passenger’s name and deleted it.

They’ve already been cautioned not to name their children Kelly…..way too confusing.
