With too much going on in her personal life, Kate Gosselin has put her work with clothing line Healthtex on hold. On June 22nd divorce papers were filed for Kate and Jon Gosselin in Bucks County Pennsylvania and their reality show Jon & Kate Plus 8 is on hiatus until August 3rd. Kate’s latest book has also been put on hold.
Earlier this week the Gosselin’s issued a statement that appeared on the TLC website. Their plans are to focus solely on their family and they will no longer be reacting to the media and speculation of their activities.
In May while Kate was doing the talk show circuit, she appeared on the Rachel Ray Show and handed out goody bags to the audience. The bags included DVD’s of Jon and Kate Plus 8, copies of her new book and a sundress that Kate helped design for Healthtex.
Although Kate won’t be providing input anytime soon to Healthtex, the fall clothing line is on store shelves at Walmart stores across the country.
It should be interesting to see if ratings pick up in August. Many just aren’t finding the story lines quite as interesting without that edgy marital dynamic that kept us all coming back week after week.
