The hit reality show Jon & Kate Plus 8 has hooked up with another TLC favorite, American Chopper. It seems that Kate decided to have a motorcycle designed and built for her man Jon Gosselin. You remember him….he’s that guy that lives above the garage when Kate is in residence.
The Orange County Chopper crew of Paul Teutul Sr. and his sons Paulie Jr. and Mikey traveled 150 miles from their garage in Montomery, NY to visit the Gosselin family at their Wernerville, PA home to film a shared segment that will air on both shows within the next week.
Mikey decided that he needed a gimic for entertaining the Gosselin children, so he brought along a ventriloquist dummy. He admitted to sweating bullets about his little presentation but he needn’t have worried because Charlie was a hit with the kids – see pics below.
The Gosselin visit will be featured on American Chopper this Thursday night, June 11 at 9:00 p.m. ET. The companion piece will be featured on Jon & Kate Plus 8 on Monday night, June 15 at 9:00 p.m. ET.
Last night, we saw the 100th episode of Jon & Kate Plus 8, featuring Emeril Lagosse, who spent an entire day cooking in Kate’s kitchen. Jon was kept busy peeling garlic while Kate and the cooking guru seemed to enjoy a good-natured romp around ‘her’ domain.
Jon found it ironic that she normally doesn’t tolerate anyone working in her ‘space’ but seemed to take it all in stride – obviously clicking with Lagosse. At one point, she even shooed a camera man away, after reminding him that he wasn’t supposed to get that close to her…..now that’s the Kate we all know and tolerate.
