Jennifer Hudson is offering a $100,000 reward for the safe return of her 7-year-old nephew, Julian King.

On a message posted on her Myspace page, Hudson said, “Please keep praying for our family and that we get Julian King back home safely.”

Chicago police have issued an Amber Alert and called in the help of the FBI in the search for the boy, who has been missing since Friday, when Hudson’s mother and brother were found shot to death in their Englewood home.

The actress’s sister, Julia Hudson, pleaded for the safe return of her son. “All I ask, I don’t care who you are, let my baby go. Please. I just want my son.”

Asked if anyone would want to take the boy, she said, “I don’t know. I don’t care. I just want him back.”

Julia’s estranged husband, William Balfour, a suspect in the deaths, remained in custody Saturday, but young Julian King had not been seen since the bodies of Darnell Donerson, 57, and Jason Hudson, 29, were found Friday afternoon.

According to reports, Balfour had threatened to “kill Julia’s family,”after a dispute over a car. Julia was reportedly upset that Balfour had sold a car belonging to her. She didn’t report the threat because she didn’t take it seriously.

Jennifer Hudson said the deaths of her mother and brother have left her family “in a state of shock.”

“It hurts,” she said. “I don’t know what else to do besides pray.”

Hudson recently announced her engagement to David Otunga, best known for his stint on the reality show, “I Love New York.”
