Jon Gosselin certainly isn’t doing anything to improve his image in the eyes of the TLC network or the viewers of the reality television show Jon & Kate Plus 8.
Gosselin, who recently split with his wife of ten years, Kate Gosselin, has been photographed in the South of France living the good life with his new 22-year-old girlfriend Hailey Glassman. The two have been guests of famed fashion designer Christian Audigier of the Ed Hardy line.
The couple have been spending time on Audigier’s private luxury yacht. Over the weekend rumors were flying that the clothing tycoon was about to enter into a kids clothing deal with the father of eight. Not so–says the fashion icon’s rep. Apparently he was simply “taking care of” Jon and Hailey while they were enjoying a European getaway.
Glassman comes with a bit of a shady past. She was arrested in 2005 for possession of drug paraphernalia, marijuana, hashish and hashish oil. The case was settled out of court and a judgment withheld—likely because her father is Dr. Lawrence Glassman, a noted New York plastic surgeon. See her booking rap sheet here.
It is no small coincidence that Dr. Glassman performed Kate Gosselin’s post-sextuplet tummy tuck free of charge. The procedure was featured on an episode of the show – which we understand caused women to come flocking to his office to get some of what Kate got.
It was actually Hailey Glassman’s mother, a fan of Jon & Kate Plus 8, who enticed her surgeon husband to offer his services to Kate. Who could have known then that Jon Gosselin would pursue their daughter as a result. Mrs. Glassman is either very pleased or very disappointed in how the hand of fate is playing out.
