Cher was in the house last night when ABC’s ‘Dancing with the Stars’ celebrated her hits with routines that harkened back to her heyday.
As a guest judge, the ‘I Got You Babe’ songstress was more than kind — appreciating the hard work that each couple put into their Cher-themed routines.
When former ‘DWTS’ pro Julianne Hough sat in for Len Goodman earlier this season, she gave the same scores as Carrie Ann Inaba and Bruno Tonioli. Cher was her own woman when it came to casting her votes — often awarding pairs a higher score than the pro judges seated on either side of her on the panel.
Falling prey to this week’s dreaded elimination were Brant Daugherty and his pro partner Peta Murgatroyd.
The ‘Pretty Little Liars’ actor said through tears, “I’ve learned something I never thought I’d be able to learn in my life. I learned a lot about myself.” His partner added, “He’s just an amazing guy — thank you so much for everything.”
Brant and Peta hit the talk show circuit this morning and posed for a photo that he captioned on Instagram, “Just hung up my dancing shoes on Good Morning America with @petamurgatroyd and we’re not happy about it.”
Still hanging tight despite registering the lowest scores consistently through the first eight weeks of competition is comedian Bill Engvall — proof that a strong voter base trumps a lack of dance skills.
