Venezuela beauty queen Dayana Mendoza was Miss Venezuela 2007 and Miss Universe 2008. The gorgeous 23-year-old claims that she gained all of her poise after surviving a kidnapping as a teenager.
She relates that the experience taught her to push through and succeed, saying “I learned to remain calm in a very stressful situation and to try to reach to the human part of our abductors.”
