Apparently Danica Patrick has a lead foot both on and off the track. The 26 year old Scottsdale, Arizona resident has amassed several speeding tickets in the last three years according to court records.
In the latest incident, the IndyCar Series racer was pulled over in her 2007 Mercedes on December 9 after being clocked going 54 mph in a 35 mph zone. She paid a $196 fine in lieu of appearing in traffic court next week.
Last year she was sentenced to attend traffic school after being cited for doing 57 mph in a 40 mph zone. We’re not sure how she fares when she’s not in her hometown but it’s evident the local police aren’t cutting her any slack.
