Texas Longhorns QB Colt McCoy surprised girlfriend Rachel Glandorf today, when he got down on one knee at Darrell K. Royal-Texas Memorial Stadium and proposed in view of the HD Jumbotron.
The Jumbotron screen read “Will You Marry Me?” when the two stepped onto the field.
Glandorf said yes, providing a bright spot in McCoy’s otherwise difficult week.
McCoy was sidelined during the first play of the National Championship game on Thursday against Alabama due to a shoulder injury. The Longhorns lost against the Crimson Tide 37-21.
