Actress Cindy Crawford has been married for eleven years to businessman Rande Gerber. The owner of the Midnight Oil chain of bars and lounges is being sued by two former female waitresses who claim they were wrongly terminated after refusing the advances of the boss and several other male managers.
The alleged incidents occurred last year at Moonstone Lounge, located in the Hard Rock Hotel in San Diego. According to documents filed by the women in San Diego County Superior Court, Gerber tried to kiss one of them three times one evening and he also put his hand up her dress. The other waitress experienced similar unprovoked sexual contact. Both women claim they rebuked the repeated advances and were fired.
A spokesman from the Gerber Group said, “These allegations were previously investigated and shown to be baseless. This lawsuit has no merit.”
