The elimination results are in from FOX reality show American Idol and Megan Joy Cockrey was sent home on Wednesday night. When Ryan Seacrest asked for her initial reaction, she said, “That’s Ok, I don’t care.”

The 23 year old single mother from Sandy, Utah sang Bob Marley‘s Turn Your Lights Down Low on Tuesday night and received the wrath of all four judges. She gave some cocky responses, insisting that she liked the song and so did her fans.

Landing in the bottom three along with Megan were Anoop Desai and Allison Iraheta. Judge Simon Cowell had predicted that it would be Matt Giraud rather than Allison to wind up on the potential chopping block. Simon said there was one within the bottom group worth saving, and it appears Iraheta would have been given the chance to redeem herself.

When Seacrest asked Simon if the judges would try to save Megan Joy, Cowell replied, “She doesn’t care and neither do we.”

Cockrey cried when they showed film clips of her American Idol journey. She gave a shout out to her two year old at home, saying “I’m coming home baby.”
