Responding to the tragic suicide of Russell Armstrong, the Bravo Network has issued a statement offering condolences to Taylor Armstrong of Real Housewives of Beverly Hills fame.
Bravo exec Andy Cohen 'tweeted', "I am so very sad about today's news. My prayers and thoughts are with Taylor Armstrong and her family."
An official statement by the network said, "All of us at Bravo are deeply saddened by the tragic news of the death of Russell Armstrong. Our sympathy and thoughts are with the Armstrong family at this difficult time."
RH co-star and recent divorcee Camille Grammer offered up condolences on her Twitter page, "My sympathy and condolences go out to Taylor and Kennedy. My thoughts and prayers are with them."
Taylor's attorney, Robert Thorne, told TMZ, "Taylor Armstrong is devastated by the tragic events that have unfolded. She requests privacy at this time so that she may comfort her young daughter. Her thoughts and prayers are also with Russell's 11 and 13-year-old sons."
The couple's relationship problems were documented on the first season of the Bravo reality series. Season two premieres September 5, 2011.
