Actress Gwyneth Paltrow really got into character for her upcoming film Country Strong. She learned how to play the guitar and really sounds like a true professional. So much so, that the song has already been released to country music stations across the country.
In the movie Paltrow plays a washed-up alcoholic country singer. For inspiration while filming, she leaned on her husband, Coldplay frontman Chris Martin. While embarrassed to play in front of the rocker, she said that he was not only encouraging but so sweet and helpful too.
The movie will be out in limited release in the U.S. during the coveted Christmas weekend time slot beginning December 22, followed by wide release on January 7th.
Gwyneth actually had one other music debut – singing Cruisin’ with Huey Lewis.
