Kendra and her husband Hank Baskett will be celebrating their one year anniversary next month but it seems they may be getting an unwanted gift. Vivid Entertainment plans to release an explicit video starring the former Playboy playmate — much to her dismay. According to sources, Mrs. Baskett knew the tape existed but neither expected nor wanted it to become public.
The video was shot back in 2005 when Kendra was just 18. The reality TV star made attempts to stop the video from being released and her reps told OK Magazine, “Kendra’s attorneys are currently evaluating and pursuing Kendra’s rights with respect to the purported video and any third parties involved in the possible sale, reproduction or distribution of the same.”
Regardless of the legal battle, Vivid announced today that it is coming. “The tape was brought to us by a third party and after consulting with our attorneys, we are confident in our right to distribute it. We’ve been trying to reach Kendra but have so far been unsuccessful. We therefore made the decision to release ‘Kendra Exposed’ to stores across the country by the end of May,” said Vivid founder Steven Hirsch.
Though she has yet to release a statement on her current situation, she will be addressing it on her E! reality TV show. Kendra now joins a list of Hollywood ladies who have gone through the same embarrassment: Kim Kardashian, Chelsea Handler, Pamela Anderson and Paris Hilton.
