Effective December 11th, the Superior Court of Los Angeles appointed two temporary guardians for 17 year old Frances Bean Cobain, daughter of Courtney Love and deceased rocker Kurt Cobain. Frances is now residing and under the legal control of her aunt Kimberly Dawn Cobain and her grandmother Wendy O’Conner.

The situation isn’t sitting to well with Courtney. Fearing for her safety, Frances Bean was granted a temporary restraining order that is intended to keep her mother away.

The order states that Love many not have any direct contact with Frances. The restraining order and custody agreement are temporary measures that this point. A court hearing is set for January 5th, at which time it is expected that the teenager will attempt to make the restraining order permanent.

Usually celebrities take to their Twitter page to air their grievances but Courtney hit her Facebook page in several rambling messages. She said, “Frances thinks she has all this money, but the point is I have all the money she has…I don’t care really, I hate to sound cold but any kid of mine who pulls this s— has lost her position. She was deceptive, she lied and she’s lying to herself. My daughter is not always honest.”
