Could this be considered a public service announcement? Lead singer of The Gossip, Beth Ditto weighs in on drugs and overweight people:
“I did ecstasy once – and it ruled – but fat people shouldn’t do drugs. Fat people should certainly not do cocaine. It’s not that they are all unhealthy, but it can be hard on your body, on your heart, so you have to accept you can’t do certain things. I don’t want to die when I am 38. It’s not worth it. Plus, can you imagine if I were on coke? I mean how much faster can a girl talk?”
This comes from the same girl who considers herself a punk and doesn’t shave her arm pits or wear deodorant–admitting that most punks usually smell.
