Britney Spears is back on tour and doing great. Her Circus extravaganza has done well in the U.S. but she hasn’t been packing them in across the pond. UK sales are reportedly just so-so. In order to pack the house at London’s O2 Arena, tickets are now being offered for an astonishing $3.00.
So if you plan to be in London in the coming days, you can buy last minute tickets to see Britney perform, and should be able to snag some very cheap seats. Tickets normally begin in the $150 range. With four more performances in London, they may have to just open the doors wide and invite the crowd to an open venue event.
An industry source told British newspaper The Sun that the weekend shows didn’t sell out and rather than play to a small crowd, they decided the best approach was to offer up rock bottom pricing. A company that specializes in getting rid of tickets fast was given the job. In the end, all tickets were sold but the tour is reportedly taking a huge revenue hit.
