Beverly Hills 90210 star Jennie Garth doesn’t appear to have any noticeable health issues, but appearances can sometimes be deceiving. The actress recently told Access Hollywood that she suffers from a leaky heart valve.
What prompted Jennie to talk about her heart? The actress lost her father last year after he battled heart disease for many years.
“I have a leaky heart valve and it’s a common thing. A lot of people have it and don’t even know they have it (it) leaks blood. It’s your connection to your heart…your artery, the main artery that goes to your heart. It sort of flutters open and shut…it’s weird because sometimes when I’m resting I can feel a little weird fluttering.”
Jennie says that down the road it has the potential to become more serious, but she has been told that people have heart valves replaced all the time. That said, she plans to let nothing stop her from living her life to the fullest.
