We’ve got some magnificent photos of actress Salma Hayek and her new husband Francois-Henri Pinault, who turned out to lend their support to the Puma Ocean Racing Team yesterday in Boston. Sailing fans from up and down the eastern seaboard were on hand to witness leg seven of the Boston to Galway Volvo Ocean Race.
Hayek and Pinault were aboard the il mostro and were photographed manning the sailing vessel. Skipper Ken Read said, “Salma christened il mostro in Boston Harbor a year ago to the day. It’s great to have our boat’s godmother with us as we leave Boston and I hope she’ll bring us good luck in this leg.”
Hayek and Pinault wed at City Hall in Paris on Valentine’s Day and then opted to renewed their vows with friends and family as witnesses on April 25, 2009 in Venice.
Pinault is a French businessman and CEO of PPR. His father Francois Pinault is a billionaire who is ranked 39th richest in the world with a net worth estimated at $16.9 billion.
Salma and Pinault have a twenty-month-old daughter Valentina Paloma Pinault. The actress recently brought her daughter onto the set of 30 Rock, where she had a guest role opposite Alec Baldwin.
