Comedian Eddie Griffin has found himself in the middle of a very ugly lawsuit that all started when he bounced a check for $150,000. The check had been presented to the “Jamaica 360” program and was to foot the bill for a career building trip for 100 African American college graduates.
Samir Sayegh was one of the attendees at the event and he claims he was conned into lending Griffin his charge card, which the celeb used to cover the cost of the massive hotel bill, a charge of $150,000.
American Express is now suing Samir for the charges and Samir is suing Eddie. Neither party is commenting at this time.
