Legendary rock group Led Zeppelin is finished! While there was talk of a 2009 tour, that has all gone by the wayside because singer Robert Plant had no interest in joining bandmates Jimmy Page and John Paul Jones for a reunion.
A search was done to replace Plant but they were unable to find a good match. Peter Mensch, who works for Page’s management firm, is trying to put an end to all the rumors and what better way than to say, “It’s over.”
“Led Zeppelin are over! If you didn’t see them in 2007, you missed them. It’s done. I can’t be any clearer than that…there are absolutely no plans for them to continue. Zero. Frankly, I wish everyone would quit talking about it.”
