Heather Locklear was able to plead no contest to reckless driving in an agreement that dismissed the previous charge of DUI. She received three year’s probation, will pay a $700 fine and must attend a 12-hour drug education course. High powered defense attorney Blair Berk appeared in Santa Barbara court for the proceedings.
The actress was arrested on suspicion of DUI in September 2008. Blood tests indicated there was no alcohol in Locklear’s system but the actress tested positive for prescription medication.
