Police found a .45 caliber weapon yesterday in an abandoned lot, a block away from where the vehicle was found that held the body of 7 year old Julian King.
The task of finding the weapon was a high priority for 100 personnel of the Chicago Police department. The weapon that has been recovered is believed to have been used in all three murders.
William Balfour, the alleged killer of Darnell Donerson, Jason Hudson and Julian King, has stopped cooperating with police. This came after he was asked to take a polygraph test. Balfour is being held on a probation violation at this time but is the top suspect in this case.
