Macho Man Randy Savage, one of the most popular wrestlers in WWE history, has died from injuries sustained in a car accident. He was 58.
The grappling great reportedly suffered a heart attack while driving in Florida this morning. Police confirm his Jeep Wrangler veered across a concrete median and “collided head-on with a tree.” There was no alcohol involved and Savage was wearing his seatbelt.
The Macho Man was driving with his wife Lynn, who survived with “minor injuries.” The couple had been married for a year.
Savage started his career in 1985 and was a seven-time world champion. Our thoughts go out to his family.
