This night is sparkling, don’t you let it go. I’m wonderstruck, blushing all the way home.
I’ll spend forever wondering if you knew. I was enchanted to meet you.

So sings Taylor Swift in “Enchanted,” a single off the artist’s latest album, “Speak Now.” Asked about whom the song was written – considering Swift’s penchant to reference boyfriends and crushes in her lyrics – Taylor told Yahoo! Music last year:

It’s “about this guy that I met in New York City, and I had talked to him on email or something before… And meeting him, it was this overwhelming feeling of: I really hope that you’re not in love with somebody.”

In response to the song, Owl City singer Adam Young has finally realized: wait, that’s me!!!

Will Taylor Swift and Adam Young ever make their love connection?

Young took to his bang’s blog yesterday and replied to “Enchanted,” addressing Swift directly:

“Everything about you is beautiful. You’re an immensely charming girl with a wonderful heart and more grace and elegance than I know how to describe. You are a true princess from a dreamy fairy tale; a modern Cinderella. I’m terribly sorry it’s taken me such a long time to reply but I figured Valentine’s Day was the perfect time to write this note to you and simply say… I was enchanted to meet you too.”
