With Hollywood remaining abuzz over the Josh Duggar sexual molestation scandal, another reality TV star has come out and opened up about his unfortunate past related to this issue.
Jep Robertson tells Entertainment Tonight that he was sexually molested as a six-year old.
“It was on a school bus and it was an older girl," Jep says in this interview. "Back then the high school students would ride on the same bus as the grade school. There was this girl there that was just real mean."
The Duck Dynasty star went on to say "a lot of scary stuff took place," explaining how the older student acted all "motherly" at first and then:
"She’d take my hands and push them up under her shirt and tell me I was tickling her. Then she started making me pull down my pants.
"It was awkward. I didn’t know what was going on, but I knew something wasn’t right."
Jep started to skip out on school as a result of these instances. He says he was “embarrassed” about it and didn’t want his parents to think anything was wrong, so he kept his mouth shut.
Does Robertson have an opinion on the Duggars?
"At some point… you got to get a tough skin and no matter what anybody says about you, you just got to be like, ‘We’re just going to keep doing what we do.’"
"I think that’s what they’re doing," wife Jessica added. "I think they’re staying close-knit and I think they’ll be fine, but it’ll be a long road."
