Eva Longoria graces the cover of “Parade Magazine” this Sunday. We see her poised on a swing, looking like she doesn’t have a care in the world. The actress sat down for an in depth interview and seems to be high on life.
Longoria credits her mentally challenged sister for laying the foundation of her own approach to life. The actress marvels at Liza’s ability to forge an independent and fulfilling life and calls her a blessing. Longoria said that it is a joyful experience to have witnessed her sister tackling and overcoming many obstacles, both large and small.
The simple act of tying a shoe lace may seem trival to most people but not to Longoria. The fact that Liza is able to work outside of her parents home and ride the bus on her own gives Eva pause. She calls Liza her hero.
Longoria says that she does not take her health lightly and is forever thankful for the good things that have happened to her. Eva also had warm praise for her mother – describing her as loving and nonjudgmental. She recalls that when she announced she was heading to Los Angeles to become an actress, her mother wished her well and expressed her hope that it would make her happy.
Longoria is expansive in describing her love of her husband Tony, her career, her friends, her dog. Quite frankly -she seems to love everything and everyone. She is just plain high on life.
