Paris Hilton was a guest on the Ellen DeGeneres Show on Monday and shared with the morning talk show host that she has 17 dogs. This is apparently in violation of an Los Angeles animal ordinance that allow only three dogs per household. LA Animal Services showed up on Paris Hilton’s door step on Tuesday to investigate.
The lowdown on the LA Dept. of Animal Services visit is that Paris is having some major renovations done on her home right now and the animals have all been boarded out to animal handlers. She will undoubtedly have to make permanent provisions for her canine kids.
Even though Paris is not a registered breeder of animals, her dogs aren’t aware of the distinction and have been procreating like crazy, and Paris doesn’t have the heart to get rid of the offspring. Yikes! She also ran into issues with a cat recently, with accusations from an animal rescue center that she abandoned the pet.
The princess of dogs was quick to tell Ellen DeGeneres that she gives her pooches equal treatment, keeping track of who she takes out at any given time so they all get their proper turns. She also pays particular attention to their doggie outfits. She’ll make a great mom of multiples some day. Maybe she watches Jon & Kate Plus 8 on TLC.
