Bride-to-be Kelly Clarkson posted a wedding dress-inspired engagement photo on Twitter that features the singer arranged sweetly and barefoot, with book in hand, on a window seat in a library of shelved books.
She tweeted, “Ok, just saw my engagement shoot pics & I have to share one!!! Thanks @kobyb & @TerilynBrown! Ready to #TieItUp!”
The 31-year-old former ‘American Idol’ winner announced her engagement to talent manager Brandon Blackstock on Dec. 14, 2012.
Kelly met her future husband through his father Norvel Blackstock, who happens to be Clarkson’s manager and the husband of Reba McEntire.
This has been an excellent year for the ‘Stronger’ singer. She was tapped to perform ‘The Star-Spangled Banner’ at Super Bowl XLVI and sang ‘My Country ‘Tis of Thee’ for the second Presidential Inauguration of Barack Obama. That evening she and her fiance partied at the White House.
The couple sent out a Save the Date notice in late May to family and friends. The nuptials are scheduled to take place on October 20th in Nashville with country singer Blake Shelton officiating.
