Jimmy Kimmel admitted last night that the viral video showing a girl catching fire while twerking was a stunt.
The YouTube video titled ‘Worst Twerk Fail EVER – Girl Catches Fire’ has had 9 million views since it was posted six days ago.
Monday the talk show host revealed that “Caitlin Heller” is actually stunt woman Daphne Avalon, who filmed the video two months ago and was “sworn to secrecy” about the pants on fire drama that ensued when she staged an up close and personal interaction with a candle flame.
He told Avalon last night, “Well, thank you for helping us deceive the world and hopefully put an end to twerking forever.”
The most famous Twerk exhibition of 2013 took place at the VMA Awards at the end of August, when Miley Cyrus put on an X-rated performance while Robin Thicke crooned.
