Jenelle Evans: Leah Messer is a Worse Mom than Me!!!

The Good Times

Do you remember when Jenelle and Leah used to get along? It seems like forever ago, right?

Memories

It wasn’t though! Just a couple of years ago, all the Teen Mom 2 girls managed to be civil enough to take photos together.

Not Anymore

But then Jenelle and Kailyn started feuding in a major way, and so did Jenelle and Chelsea, and sometimes Jenelle and Leah, and then David got real scary, and so it all just fell apart.

Well, Jenelle …

And now that Jenelle’s been fired, this doesn’t matter as much because she doesn’t have to interact with the other moms, but still, the bad blood remains.

Friends

She gets along with Briana, but these days, the other cast members are basically her sworn enemies.

Uh Oh …

And that’s why she thought it would be a good idea to go after Leah.

Some History

Before we get into Jenelle’s new feud with Leah, let’s do a quick recap of the past several years of her life, starting with the fact that she signed over custody of her youngest son, Jace, to her mother, Barbara. Barb now has full, permanent custody of Jace, and it’s highly unlikely that that will ever change.

Bad Times

Jenelle also very nearly lost custody of her other two children, Ensley and Kaiser, when CPS decided to remove them from her home.

RIP Nugget

This happened after David killed Jenelle’s dog, but it’s possible there were some other factors involved — it’s apparently very difficult for CPS to justify doing an emergency removal of children from their home.

During the period of time when all the kids were out of Jenelle’s care, a lot of things came out, like this leaked video of David calling Jenelle a piece of sh-t and telling her that she could die for all he cares.

Heartbreaking

There was also a newly revealed 911 call from last year in which Jenelle told the operator that David was smashing in their front door and destroying things in the front yard because he was angry about something he’d read online. She said she was hiding in the attic while Ensley was alone in her room.

So Many Things

And then, of course, there are all the claims that she’d been neglecting Kaiser while David abused him.

Tragic

A report from one of the custody hearings said that the judge told Jenelle that she’d failed to do her job as a mother in protecting the kids from David, and it’s true — Jenelle is not a good mother, and there’s really no arguing that.

But on Twitter, she tried it!

Ugh

Earlier this week, she tweeted “None of you can stand the fact my family is back together. I’m a damn good mom, regardless of anyone else’s opinion. Don’t let anyone bring you down!”

Someone replied with “A good Mom doesn’t have to get on social media and announce to the world that she’s a good Mom.”

So Mature

To that, Jenelle wrote “Well guess what? I’m A DAMN GOOD MOM AND WILL SHOUT IT UNTIL YOUR EARS BLEED.”

Well …

One of her followers pointed out that “Good moms don’t get their kids taken away. Just sayin…”

Oh No

Jenelle’s retort? “So I guess Leah’s not a good mom? ? She got her kids taken and given back just like me.”

Honestly

Yeah, she went there.

Facts

It’s true that a few years ago, Leah wasn’t in the best place. She’s since admitted that she struggled with an addiction to pills, and there was a point that Corey got custody of the twins.

So Sad

It was tough to watch on the show because it was clearly devastating for Leah to lose time with her girls, but it was obviously for the best. Leah was struggling with getting them to school on time, and they complained about being hungry and how she had no food in her house.

Moving Forward

These days, thankfully, Leah seems to be doing a whole, whole lot better. She’s in a completely different place than she used to be, and Corey doesn’t seem to have anymore concerns with her taking care of their daughters.

Jenelle’s situation is completely different.

More Facts

Instead of a change in custody, Jenelle temporarily lost custody because a detective in a police investigation alerted CPS that she shouldn’t be in charge of the care of children.

So no, Leah’s custody situation a few years ago was not “just like” Jenelle’s.

Still, she carried on with this train of thought, tweeting a tea emoji and “I know so much more than any of you think.”

Truth Seeker

When someone pointed out that CPS never took Leah’s kids like they did with Jenelle’s, she said “Go talk to Corey and Miranda and ask what truly happened.”

Wow

She’s deleted this one, but she also wrote “She had them taken away due to being on drugs, showing up late for her daughter’s appointments… I know a lot. Jeremy used to be very close to me.”

Yikes

So those are some pretty serious allegations, right? Like, she actually said that CPS removed Leah’s kids, too.

Hmmm …

Except if they removed the twins, wouldn’t they remove Addie, too? And wouldn’t we have seen something about it on the show?

Um

Like, there were definitely several scenes with a judge deciding things, but if it was a CPS removal like Jenelle had, wouldn’t it be an actual court case? And does CPS go through the trouble of taking kids away from a parent then approve partial custody like Leah had? It just doesn’t make sense.

Tell Her!

Leah agreed — she tweeted “She’s gotta pin her troubles on someone… why not it be me? ? Worry about what’s good for you and those babies Jenelle. Stop attacking people on social media.”

When someone told her to go off, Leah said “She ain’t worth my time.”

Jeremy, who Jenelle said was “very close” with her back then, also had something to say.

In Conclusion

So all of this is ridiculous, right? And even it is true, how low would Jenelle be for throwing Leah under the bus for something that happened years ago to deflect something sincerely horrific that happened in Jenelle’s life last month?
