It’s been a rough few weeks for Khloe Kardashian.
By now, you’ve no doubt heard about the Tristan Thompson-Jordyn Woods cheating scandal that devastated multiple relationships for the ladies of the Kard clan.
Khloe is no longer dating baby daddy Tristan; Kylie is no longer living with former best friend Jordyn.
The whole situation is a mess, and emotions are understandably running high.
Khloe took some flak for lashing out at Jordyn on social media, as many felt she should be reserving her wrath for Tristan.
Since then, Khloe has mostly backed off from commenting on the situation (though that couldn’t have been easy).
Fortunately, she has a loyal attack dog who’s willing to do the dirty work for her.
Malika Haqq is Khloe’s longtime best friend, and she doesn’t mess around with those who have caused her bestie pain.
In fact, Malika has been accused of bullying Jordyn due to her harsh comments in response to the cheating scandal.
But unlike Khloe, the criticism hasn’t caused Malika to back down.
She’ll still speak candidly about the situation to anyone who’s willing to listen.
Of course, these days, her comments are a bit more tame, possibly at Khloe’s behest.
"Khloe is good," Malika told Entertainment Tonight at a red carpet event in LA over the weekend.
"She’s doing really good."
Some have interpreted Malika’s comment as subtle shade directed at Tristan.
She seems to be suggesting that Khloe is doing better than ever, precisely because she kicked Tristan to the curb,
That could be the case — or it could be that Malika just felt like sharing kind words about her longtime BFF.
"We can tell each other when either one is right or wrong, but no matter what we just stick together. That is all that really matters to us," Haqq said of her relationship with Khloe.
"When you have someone who has your back no matter what, it’s like a family member. You know how your mother was like, ‘You’re in trouble, you’re wrong, but I still got your back.’ That’s the nature of our relationship."
In case it wasn’t already clear how tight these two are, Malika concluded:
"I’m able to be a Malika because have a Khloe. We take care of each other.
"We’re a duo that’s really tough to come by, but we are blessed to have each other and we build off of that."
Khloe may have suffered a major betrayal from Tristan and Jordyn, but it sounds like Malika’s got her back for life.
