Coming off what many felt was a lackluster season, The Real Housewives of Orange County is bringing in two new cast members to shake things up.
Who are the new housewives coming to the OC?
“Meghan King Edmonds, who is married to baseball player Jim Edmonds, and Katie Chadwick Hamilton, wife of baseball player Josh Hamilton,” says a source.
Bravo has yet to officially confirm or deny this.
At least one of the supposed new hires should already be familiar to viewers; Edmonds (right) went to last year’s infamous hoedown at Heather Dubrow’s.
Meghan was not only present … she was a bit flirtatious with Shannon Beador’s husband, David, which obviously “did not please Shannon one bit.”
Hmm, could this be why Bravo brought her on?
Is Kim Kardashian obsessed with herself?
As for Hamilton, her family has a rocky past that will come to light, the source hinted. Could that be Josh Hamilton’s substance abuse problems?
In any case, “so far, the ladies seem to be great additions to the cast, and are definitely fitting in with the majority of the women,” the source dished.
Insiders also confirm that Jeana Keough is returning to the show after serving as one of its original cast members. Bring on the new and the old!
As for whether producers really want Tamra Barney fired, as the rumors say … we sort of doubt it. She and Vicki Gunvalson are the show’s core.
Then again, she may have burned so many bridges that she genuinely wants to leave at this point. Last season was particularly bad in that regard.
Heather Dubrow and Shannon Beador should be back, while Lizzie Rovsek’s future with the show is a bit of a mystery after her debut last season.
Who do you want to see back … or gone?
